Hey, I'm Courtney. I'm in my last year at Iowa State University majoring in journalism with a magazine emphasis and English minor. While I'm here, I keep busy with my part-time job on WOI radio announcing market updates and holding the managing editor position at ethos magazine. I try to save my remaining amounts of free time to spend with friends and family. Most of my family is back home in Iowa Falls, Iowa, so I try to make it up there as much as possible. I love watching my nephew grow up and eating dinner with my grandparents. I also enjoy falling asleep on the couch watching Saturday Night Live with my dad.
I'm really pretty easy to figure out, but sometimes I can get complicated. I like a lot of things, dislike a few things, and am always trying new things. It's only fair to give something a chance ... if I don't like it I will never do it again, and if I do it will probably become a new obsession.
The list of things I actually dislike is quite short, so I'll leave that off. I'm pretty easy-going and am usually content with whatever comes my way, so I try to make the most of everything. I'm always open to new ideas and especially love to discover new people and places.

You've learned quite a bit about me yet you're just getting started. I thought I'd introduce you to a few of my favorite people! These are the ladies and gentlemen that I choose to surround myself with on a daily or at least frequent basis. They are my family♥ that I got to choose for myself. :) I don't know where I'd be without any of these people; each and every one holds a special place in my heart for their own reason.
